2. What personal data I collect
I may collect and process the following categories of personal data:
- Contact details: such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and role.
- Information you provide: any information you choose to include in messages or form fields (for example, about your HubSpot setup, your business, or your project).
- Technical data: such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
3. Why I collect your data and legal bases
I process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries: when you submit a form or contact me by email, I use your details to reply and follow up on your request.
- To explore or perform a contract: if we discuss or enter into a consulting engagement, I use your data to deliver services, manage proposals, and communicate about the work.
- To comply with legal obligations: such as bookkeeping and tax rules that require me to retain certain information (e.g., invoices, basic client details).
- To improve my website and services: using basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed).
The main legal bases under GDPR that I rely on are:
- Your consent, for example when you submit a form or accept cookies.
- Performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract), when we work together or discuss a potential project.
- Compliance with legal obligations, particularly in accounting and tax.
- Legitimate interests in running and improving my business, where your rights and interests do not override those interests.
4. How long I keep your data
I keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, for example:
- Inquiries and form submissions: typically up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless we start an engagement.
- Client and project records: for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the relationship and as required by law (for example, Norwegian accounting and tax rules).
After that, I delete or anonymize the data where possible.
5. Who I share your data with
I do not sell your personal data.
I may share your data with:
- Service providers (processors):
- HubSpot – for hosting the website, managing forms, and storing contact and interaction data (CRM, email, analytics).
- Microsoft 365 – for email, document storage, and productivity tools.
These providers act as data processors on my behalf and are contractually bound to comply with applicable data protection laws.
- Public authorities or advisors: if required by law (for example, in connection with tax, accounting, or legal claims).
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the EU/EEA. In those cases, they are expected to use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) in line with applicable data protection law.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or a similar jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: to obtain a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
- Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: to request deletion of your data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction: to request that I limit how I process your data.
- Objection: to certain types of processing, especially where based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine‑readable format where applicable.
- Withdraw consent: where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing that has already taken place.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact me at contact@alytek.no.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been infringed.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
My website uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Make the site function properly (necessary cookies). Necessary cookies are used regardless of consent, as they are required for the website to function.
- Measure basic usage and performance, for example which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the site (analytics cookies), where you have given consent.
When you visit the site, you may see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline. Your choices are respected by the cookie tools implemented on the site.
You can also manage or delete cookies via your browser settings at any time. If you block certain cookies, some parts of the website may not function correctly.
The cookies and tracking used may include those placed via HubSpot (for analytics, forms, and chat where enabled) and by integrated tools, if any. For details about HubSpot cookies, you can refer to HubSpot’s own documentation or contact me.
8. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy & Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in my activities or relevant law. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
If the changes are significant, I may also inform you by email (if appropriate) or via a notice on the website.
